LOCTITE® FREEZE AND RELEASE™ is a special mineral oil formulation to free rusted, corroded and seized parts. The shock-freezing effect will cool parts instantly down to -43 °C and cause microscopic cracks in the layer of rust. This allows the lubricating ingredients to wick directly into the rust by capillary action. Released parts remain lubricated and protected from corrosion.

Directions for use
1. Remove dirt and loose rust from parts.
2. Shake can thoroughly. Spray at a distance of about 10 to 15 cm onto the fastener to be treated for 5 to 10 seconds.
3. Allow the product to react for 1 to 2 minutes, before attempting to release the seized part.
4. Repeat application if necessary.
Storage
The product is classified as flammable and must be stored in an appropriate manner in compliance with relevant regulations. Do not store near oxidizing agents or combustible
materials. Store product in the unopened container in a dry location. Storage information may also be indicated on the product container labelling
This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as a lubricant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.

Freeze & Release has been announced
winner of the prestigious Australian Automotive Aftermarket (AAAA) Gold
Award for Best New Aftermarket Product – Chemical.
Loctite’s
Automotive Aftermarket National Sales Manager, Kevin Lennon was
thrilled to accept the Gold Award presented during the Awards
Breakfast. Attended by more than 200 guests, the presentation marked
the beginning of the 2007 AAAA Trade Show, Melbourne.
